BLOCKSWORLD

After growing up with LEGOs, building blocks have remained a huge source of inspiration for me. Blocksworld was my first attempt to make an infinite set of digital blocks, with which you can build creatures, machines, or even entire games. And it all fits on the mobile in your pocket!

I did the first prototype in 2011, as an application of Boldai's visual scripting language. In 2012 we won some prizes and launched in the Nordic Countries.

In January 2013 Linden Lab aquired Blocksworld. They helped us launch globally. We got some good press, hit top 3 in the App Store, and got millions of users and user-created worlds.

After a great 7 year run, Linden Lab took the servers offline in 2020. But the game still has many fans, was acquired by Fortell Games in 2023, and with a successful kickstarter campaign it's now scheduled to relaunch on iOS!
